CARGO INSPECTION

dry van containers :

Carrying out inspections of various cargoes stuffed in dry van containers allegedly damaged during the transportation due to for instance wetting, un sufficient or not proper securing / lashing ect. Performing silver nitrate tests, sampling of the cargoes, carrying out further lab tests. Ascertaining the cause of the damage and quantifying the loss. Preparing the relevant reports. Assisting the shipping line in a salvage sale of the cargoes once necessary. Tally inspections and attendance during re loading of the cargoes from damaged container to a sound one.

 

reefer containers :

Carrying out inspections of various cargoes stuffed in reefer containers and allegedly damaged during the sea transportation (lack of pre cooling of the cargo prior stuffing, stoppage of the aggregate and breakage of the cool chain ect.). Ascertaining the cause of the damage. Interpreting the data downloads, verifying PTI outcomes and condition of the machinery and the box. Sampling of the cargo, lab tests, and assisting in a salvage sale when possible
